Meet the New Jersey Team
Amy Holder, CTP
State Manager
Amy brings more than 3 decades of experience at all levels of our industry to Security Title. Amy began her career in title production and led the team that built the very first title plants in NJ. She spent 20 years as Regional Vice President for a national title production company overseeing all aspects of the business from sales to operations. Amy then transitioned to the world of underwriting and served as Brand Manager for a national underwriter.
Amy joined Security Title in 2017 fulfilling the role of New Jersey State Manager. She effectively utilizes her repertoire of deep technical knowledge, expansive operational knowledge of all agency processes and individualized customer service to support our NJ network of agents. The proof of her efforts is apparent in the strong relationships that she has developed and as a result, her agents speak glowingly of her.
Amy is a Past President of the New Jersey Land Title Association. Having served on many committees in her 25+ years of involvement with the association, Amy currently sits on the Legislation Committee and the Certified Title Professional review board. Amy also serves as Chairperson for the New Jersey Title Insurance Political Action Committee.
In 2018, Amy was named a Certified Title Professional. We are very proud to have one of the 35 Certified Title Professionals in New Jersey as a member of the Security Title team!
We’re lucky that Amy is more than willing to wear multiple hats as she is involved with several of Security Title’s volunteer employee committees, beyond the traditional responsibilities of a state manager. Her willingness to share her knowledge and guidance with others is appreciated by all.
Amy is passionate about working with independent title agents and providing them with the tools and guidance to continually grow their business. She is committed to remaining an advocate for independent title agents and sharing her expertise with the New Jersey title industry.
William “Bill” Slover, Esq.
Underwriting Counsel
Bill brings his many decades of experience as both an attorney and a title agent to his role as New Jersey Underwriting Counsel for Security Title.
A teacher at heart, Bill’s warm and approachable demeanor promotes an atmosphere in which agents are comfortable seeking his counsel. He is always seeking ways to remove the barriers to closing a transaction, while protecting both the agent and Security Title.
Bill is recognized as an expert in the field of title insurance as evidenced by his regular service as an expert witness in matters related to title searches, title insurance, easement disputes, enforcement of restrictive covenants, closings gone bad and related topics.
In his spare time, Bill serves as an Adjunct lecturer at Rutgers Law School teaching a 3-credit course to 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students entitled “Real Estate Transactions.”
Bill is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Agency Section for the NJLTA as well as a former Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Real Estate Section for the Mercer County Bar Association.
Bill is a frequent lecturer at programs sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Association, Rutgers Law School Continuing Legal Education Programs, Lawline, National Business Institute and of course at seminars sponsored by Security Title.
Bill received is undergraduate degree from George Washington University (1980) and his J.D. from George Mason University (1983). He is an active member of the New Jersey Bar Association as well as a licensed New Jersey Title Producer.
