Michelle is the Louisiana State Manager. With over 25 years of industry experience, Michelle Petersen is a seasoned professional in the industry of title services. Holding a paralegal studies degree from McNeese State University and serving as a Notary Public, she brings a wealth of expertise and credentials to her work. As a dedicated committee member for the American Land Title Association, Michelle has made valuable contributions to the field. Her extensive experience also includes serving on mortgage lender boards, further cementing her reputation as a respected authority in the real estate and title industry.

David has been with Security Title since 1998. Prior to that, he was in the private practice of law for many years, having been admitted to the Louisiana State bar in 1970 after graduating from Tulane Law School. Mr. Cooley first opened his practice in Slidell, LA, and focused his practice on real estate law. He was in a law firm which represented a savings and loan association and several banks. Later, he became involved in mineral law, performing title exams for drill site and division order title opinions for the oil and gas industry. Later, after a sojourn in Colorado, he returned to his home town of Baton Rouge to practice law and operate a title company at the same time. He has taught a number of CLE and CE courses relating to title insurance and real estate law over the years.
