ID Verification for Security Title Agents Through Intellicheck
Use the Intellicheck portal to verify signing parties’ identification, review the result, and know when to contact Security Title before proceeding.
This section is important because the instructions document has several setup details that agents need to know before logging in.
Include:
- Collect IDs from all parties signing transaction documents.
- A separate verification request must be completed for each party.
- Enter the file number in the Application Number field so the transaction can be connected to the Security Title file.
- If using Face Verify/photo analysis, take or have access to a headshot photo for the party being verified.
The steps at a glance:
- Log in to the Intellicheck portal.
- Enter the file number in the Application Number field.
- Select the language and document type.
- Choose whether to include Face Verify.
- Enter the customer’s mobile number or use the QR code option.
- Follow the prompts to scan the front of the ID and the barcode on the back.
- Review the verification result.
Understanding the Result and What to Do Next:
If the ID passes:
Proceed with the transaction according to your normal procedures.
If the ID fails because of scan quality:
Review whether the failure may have been caused by glare, poor image quality, or a misread field.
If the failure cannot be resolved:
Do not ignore the result. Contact Security Title’s legal department or the appropriate Security Title contact before proceeding.
