TIRSA Update Series | Session 1 | Rate Manual Changes & Ammendments to Owner’s & Loan Policies

On October 1, 2024, TIRSA’s member title insurance companies will adopt a new rate and forms manual. This filing (1) updates the TIRSA rate manual, (2) replaces the base owner’s and loan title insurance policies used in New York, and (3) replaces and introduces a number of new title insurance endorsement forms. We will therefore be holding three seminars/meetings during the month of September to prepare our agents for these changes.

In our first session we will review the changes made to the TIRSA rate manual and provide a high altitude review of the amendments made to the base Owner’s and Loan title insurance policies.

The new TIRSA filing becomes binding as of October 1, 2024. It is therefore highly recommended that you attend all 3 meetings, if possible. If you cannot attend a session, consider having another member of your staff attend and take notes.
