Security Title Guarantee Corporation hires
industry veteran for new leadership role
BALTIMORE – JANUARY 12, 2023 – The Security Title Guarantee Corporation, a national underwriter in the real estate title industry, is excited to announce two new hires to help guide its agents across multiple states, including a well-known industry veteran.
Toni Carroll brings nearly four decades of experience to the roles of South Carolina State Manager and Chief Training Officer. The latter position, which is a new post, includes working with Security Title across its multi-state footprint. Carroll has held several leadership posts in the title industry during her career.
“Education and training are always key in our business, and that is especially true in uncertain times,” Carroll said. “I’m excited to share my expertise with others and join the Security Title team. I appreciate this opportunity to continue to be part of such a strong and friendly industry.”
Carroll started in early January 2023. Security Title, headquartered in Linthicum, Maryland, is licensed to underwrite commercial and residential real estate title insurance policies in 15 states, including the Palmetto State. It serves more than 500 title agents across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and the South. The underwriter celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2022.

The second hire is Megan Troisi, an account manager in Security Title’s Maryland office. The Security Title team takes pride in providing personalized service, underwriting expertise and educational tools for its agents, and both hires will allow the underwriter to provide even more opportunity in 2023.

The Security Title Guarantee Corporation has been owned and operated by members of the Rogers family since its founding in 1952. It was established by William C. Rogers and a group of partners from the Baltimore area, which included his son, William C. (Bill) Rogers Jr. Bill Rogers was also one of the founders and former President of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. Bill Rogers served as the President of Security Title from 1970 through 1989.
